Morning all
Cold here but dry good enough for a walk later, will get the dogs out for a longish one.
I got some lovely fat pork chops at the butcher the other day, with kidney - I can’t bear kidney so OH will have it as he loves it, will have them for dinner today with roast potatoes and some veg and a nice gravy.
No washing to do for a change although OH may have his work stuff to do later, I don’t get involved with his washing he is an adult and more than capable of working a WM
Need a quick tidy through before going for our walk.
Have good days all and take care xx11 -
Morning all, just lost my post 😡so a short version follows. My laptop went wonky on Friday but Mr Fix It seems to have fixed the problem now. I enjoyed watching DGD when she went riding, but my heart was in my mouth when she went over a 2 ft jump ! She however, wasn't phased at all. It's overcast today and cold, but the bitter wind has gone at last.
Some tidying to do for today as the folding bed is still down with the spare bedding piled on it. Oh! and we won the lottery, a whole £2, I'll have to spend that wisely !
Hugs to the poorly ones, especially the little ones, and a "hello" to the MIA's. Safe journey Gers and those gallivanting out and about today, enjoy, enjoy.
Take care all

Hello all
Sorry to have been missing in action for so long. Its not the best of stories. Unfortunately I had a second stroke at the end of December and this one took out my right eye vision so I have very wonky sight now as well as limited mobility. Have been back in hospital for a few weeks which has been very depressing. Escaped back home this weekend which has been a big relief....its true you cannot beat your own bed.
I have been reading to keep up to date but it wasn't easy on my phone with my new eyesight so sorry for lack of replies
Today all be my usual lazy Sunday catching up on all my fav programmes and generally chilling and doing nothing. I will post again tomorrow and try a bit harder to keep up too date. Gers I was one of the people panicking at your mothers day announcement! Camelot you helped me breath again thanks!!!
Special hug to Ruby who has stuck with me during a very difficult time
Lots of love all and enjoy your Sunday xx13 -

Hi! Just woken up…..so must have needed that sleep. May have another snooze in a bit.
Mothers Day - I’ve always said to hubby and step daughter to wait until a day or so later before buying anything.
I was going to pop to the supermarket and get some bits but that will have to wait as I still feel a bit wobbly and won’t drive feeling like that.
have a good day all!⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇

Hi everyone,
Nelski, so sorry to hear your news.
Gers, Mothering Sunday is very near my birthday this year, sometimes it is on the actual day which used to make me feel a bit cheated (birthday is also St Patricks day so everything tends to be green.)
Ruby, I love pork chops with the kidney attached but they were banned at one time, maybe having them back is one of the much vaunted brexit benefits (the only one if so).11 -
NELS I was so sorry to read your news. There's no justice in this life is there. I hope you are soon feeling a lot better. x
I'm another whose birthday has been known to fall on Mother's Day. This year they are a week apart. I've told the kids I don't expect two presents or I will smack their hands!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9 -
Chrisca i have had the cataracts done in both eyes and you have absolutely nothing to worry about, no pain at all during or after the op and everyone was so lovely
just waiting for the snow to arrive here, forecast not too good, of course it would be the week that we have the pensioners meeting one day and the guild the next in the village a few miles from us
i am a great believer in having a lazy day now and again so thats what i am doing today
hugs to all and an even bigger hug to Nekski x10 -
