    Yeah but phones bought in the UK have more than a 6 month warranty.  My Samsungs have had a 2 year warranty for
    a few years now. I don't have to worry about having to pay to send it back to China using a Courier with Tracking which
    may outweigh the cost of the unit.

    I buy quite a few electronic items from China, mostly good although I did have one DC-DC converter explode and a piece
    just missed my eye.  Seems a capacitor was soldered on backwards. Went through the batch and found a few with the
    same fault. Easily removed and soldered back on.
