Aos is done on Mcol, which I think you need a Government Gateway account for. You will need the claim ref AND the password off that form. The Defence template is adapted to suit your needs and then emailed. DO NOT fill in anything on the defence box at Mcol

To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
I have given you a link to the second post of the NEWBIES thread.
    Click on it.

You are now looking for a reference to a Dropbox file.
The word Dropbox only appears once in that second post of the NEWBIES thread.
Click on the link and read the guidance.

Now what's so difficult about that?

Please post again if you are still having trouble, but remember you only have...
...until Tuesday 7th March to file an Acknowledgment of Service

To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.

That's one part of the process, but your prime task at the moment is to produce your defence. That cannot wait - you have just 10 days remaining to submit it to the CCBC. Make sure you let the forum see what you have written before you fire it off.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Hi,

How do you handwrite a defence that you are going to "email"? I think you need to read, re-read and read again the Newbies/FAQ thread as just skim-reading it doesn't help you at all. It has links and advice to everything you need in order to respond to a claim, including template defences where you only need to edit paragraphs 2 & 3 before adding the rest of the paragraphs to your defence document that will be emailed to the CCBC.

Whatever you do, DO NOT try and file your defence on the MCOL website. Not even a full stop in the defence box otherwise that will be your defence. But you should know all this already as it is all mentioned in the Newbies/FAQ thread.
