Virgin Money Awful, truly awful

After trying and failing to contact Virgin money ( waiting an hour on the phone many times ) I decided to transfer my ISA from them to Barclays.
Barclays sorted everything but Virgin declined it without any reason other than "declined" again, trying to contact Virgin and speak to anyone who could shed some light on why it was declined and how to move forward, was impossible.
I literally cannot contact them
I put a complaint in through their email address, I have a confirmation from them that they have my complaint and nothing else, I've asked over and over for dinner to contact me.... Nothing
I then sat on the phone for 1 hour and 30 minutes putting in another complaint, about my ISA transfer issue and the complete lack of contact from Virgin Money. They logged this, and still, no further contact.
This was weeks ago.
They have my money sat in their ISA and I simply cannot access it??
How can a bank be so incompetent?
I don't want to wait months and complain over and over. I simply want a bank to do their job??
After looking online at their reviews I can see almost every review is negative.
I'm sick to death of them and I'm powerless to do anything about it.

I suspect that this issue may be another manifestation of Virgin's complex underlying structure, resulting from uncompleted mergers and acquisitions, which gets in the way of ISA transfers:

I have opened the 4.25% 1 year ISA and tried to fund by transfer from 2 other ISAs. Both transfers have now been declined because of errors by Yorkshire Bank. Given up with Virgin now and not bothering to fund. The 1 year ISA will remain empty and be binned.There was a time when Virgin savings (Newcastle) was a market leader; Yorkshire Bank dependable. The new Virgin Money has become a joke and not to be considered as an organisation to handle my savings0

I've just arranged a transfer from my Virgin Exclusive Isa, and I found this on the Virgin websiteWe’d be sorry to see you go but if you want to transfer your ISA to another provider, they’ll ask you to complete an ISA Transfer Authority Form. They’ll then contact us to arrange the transfer.
Please refer to the sort codes below before selecting your existing provider on the Authority Form.
For Sort codes starting with 05 please choose Yorkshire Bank.
For Sort codes starting with 82 please choose Clydesdale Bank.before you attempted to transfer out your Virgin ISA?
