Thanks Doris 😊
I have stayed indoors today mostly reading my new book which arrived yesterday. Not likely to appear in the local phone box book exchange so I treated myself with Xmas money from DF & free trial of prime.Have been invited out to lunch Wednesday so am hoping I feel better 24 hours after sedation on Tuesday. It’s my friends mum’s birthday and my card stash is empty so I’ve ordered one online. Bit expensive at £3.99 😳 but should arrive Tuesday & fit through my letter box as I can’t see me getting out to the shops.I am going to phone the hospital tomorrow if we have more snow tonight and see what the process is if it’s too bad for DF to drive me in on Tuesday morning.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Feel ok this morning just a bit of a sore throat which is to be expected after having the camera down. Have had some breakfast and a couple of paracetamol. Will probably go to lunch later with friends
Was checking my bills coming due and realised I haven’t received my breakdown renewal due 23/1/25. Last year was £63.84 for full cover (home start, away from home, relay, etc) just no european driving.Phoned flag of green and renewal £138.88 😳😳
Sharp intake of breath …. after which she agreed to match last year £63.84 !!!!Still need to look at my home insurance due for renewal 20/1/25 but I will leave that for another day0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Walked to my friends house as not allowed to drive for 24 hours due to yesterday’s sedation. Some parts of the pavement were treacherous black ice but thankfully village roads were quiet so I walked on the road where I could as it had been gritted. Friend drove from her house to the pub where we met the others.
Carvery & pud £10.95 with pint of max cola total £14.35. I declined the yorkie pud and stuffing for more veg and had choc fudge cake with cream 😋
Went to friends sister’s after for a cuppa. Then friend dropped me off at top of my road and I popped in to see DF. He wanted to go to look at a new fridge so he drove us to retail park. Then back to his for a cuppa. Supposed to be very cold tonight 🥶 so not sure if I will go food shopping tomorrow0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
