Social Tariff at Virgin Media

Hi All,
I know that certain broadband providers offer social tariffs, including Virgin Media…
I’m currently with VM and thinking about asking to move to a social tariff. However, I receive ESA and PIP, I don’t receive Universal Credit. Their website only specifies UC.
Has anyone on here been able to get onto their social tariff if they’re not on UC? Did you call them and speak to them etc?
Thanks in advance,
Jordan

If you're not eligible for them you're not eligible for them. If the requirement is to be claiming UC to get the social tariff and you don't receive UC, then no social tariff from Virgin for you. There's a list of providers offering social tariffs here, you can click through and see if them will take ESA or PIP as qualifying criteria for a social tariff:

Am I eligible?
If you are a Virgin Media account holder receiving one of the following: Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance†, Income-based Employment Support Allowance†, you are eligible for Essential broadband packages. This applies to new and existing customers.
† (not contributory-based only. If both income and contributory-based, your income-based ESA or JSA must be higher)Old enough to know better...........1
