Dcb legal letter of claim in partners name, can I fight it?

Hi,
I am aware there is a lot already on here regards these letters and steps to take but I have a specific circumstance to query. When parking notice occurred I was the driver but car was in partners name and subsequently all letter etc in his name. He has anxiety and basically just wanted to pay it and get rid of the problem, I didn’t want to do that so said I would deal with it all. I was fine just opening and ignoring all the threatening letters but now this letter of claim has come and I am realistically wondering if I can do the data request, deny letter etc if I am not him. Equally if it does go further to small claims court I presume I can’t act as him.

As an aside, the car in now in my name as registered keeper (done after this incident!)
I am not even going to bother telling him as his anxiety will shoot through the roof, so ultimately can I do any more in his name or should I just pay it and put it to bed? It is now £170.

Was the PCN POFA compliant? Where did this parking event take place? When did it take place? Have you received a LoC or an actual CCC?
Lots of questions need answering if you are to receive the assistance you request.
If the PCN is POFA compliant and you only have an LoC then you may as well admit to being the driver and for them to re-issue in your name. However, if it is not POFA compliant, they cannot transfer liability to the RK (your partner) but you'd have to defend in their name. You can do all the correspondence and research but if it ever went to court (where victims on this forum win or have discontinued 99% of claims), your partner would have to be present.
If it ever got that far, you or someone can be a lay representative. Right now that is not where we are at.2 -
And not forgetting ( unless its been missed) name of parking companny?
From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"3 -
I (well partner) have received a LoC . Parking company is UKPC0

I received the pcn when parking and then left the site briefly however only indication was a little sticker on the sign which said leaving site ‘may result in pcn being issued’ however no other signage. I think my point is proved by the fact since this happened to me there are now large additional signs at exit points of the car park (on walls at eye level) stating if you leave you will receive pcn0

It occurred in aug 20210

I received a windscreen ticket on 31/08/21. If I post up here, the first postal letter I received, would you be able to tell me if POFA compliant?0

What's the bet it's DCB Legal on behalf of UKPC. Do you still have the PCN? Can you show it suitably redacted?
If it's for leaving the car park, you have a 99.999999% win. Follow the advice, read the Newbies thread and also have a look at this thread to see what usually happens with these scam claims:

Here is my initial windscreen ticket front and back and first letter0

Can I contact UKPC and ask them to put in my name as the driver at the time and now the registered keeper of car?0
