This has given me such a laugh and yes, in my new property a similar problem. The details not quite the same.
I increased the flush by fiddling with the adjuster on the ball !!!!!! (does phrase that look worse) for more water per flush.
That was after cola/hand scrub/brush/heavy duty bleach etc. Worked for a while.
Never had this problem with an overhead tank flush circa 1950 in last place.
I did see a search on the net that it can depend on what you are eating. Made sense and worked.
Sadly lifes thrown more stuff at me than this and I've forgotten. Looking forward to a solution
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

@waterman10, if problem persists one course of action would be to keep a log sheet, this would help to see if there is a pattern to the problem and give you something to show if you have to call on a professional.2

Log sheet? I see what you did there, very witty!1

You can always employ the strangle method.0

Looking on the bright side of this, it suggests that you may have a healthy approach to diet. Renowned medical scientist Denis Burkitt once said:Societies that eat unrefined foods produce large stools and build small hospitals; societies that eat fiber-depleted foods produce small stools and build large hospitals.
