Well, until about 5 minutes ago, this was a NSD. Then my 19yo son comes home from work and asks if I can buy his next month's bus ticket. Would have felt a bit silly asking him if I could buy it after midnight to keep my NSD  :D So I'm going to cheat a bit, and call it NSD#11 anyway!

My target for March, as usual, was 15. But this month there has been a lot of days where an NSD has been "wasted" due to a one- off, necessary spend: dental treatment, children's school lunch card top-up, monthly bus tickets x 2 for son, dog food........(5 NSDs lost just in that list there!! ) Over the last few days I've been thinking how I can save a few more of these lost NSDs. I guess it will be things like topping up lunch cards with larger amounts, instead of little and often, maybe buying twice as much dog food at a time  as I do at the moment. Things to ponder......

Could you put me down for 15 NSDs in April please cathybird? Thank you x

@Saver-upper Public transport is one of the things it's completely fine to exclude anyway so you're not cheating! x :)

Things that are regular and necessary like dog food, petrol and bus etc I wouldn’t count as I kind of account for them at months start so it’s spoken for even if not spent if that makes sense 😂
