vodafone broadband - contract coming to the end

Cant find this info anywhere, chat is unhelpful (as always) . My contract ends in a month and I dont know if I have to let Vodafone know that Im not renewing or I can just leave it. Btw dont join Vodafone - customer service is a joke and they are having a laugh with the speed - complaining doest work

I managed to get through to the chat yesterday and I was told I must give them 30 days notice. This person wasnt able to show me this in terms and conditions. She also said I need to speak to them again as its 30 days notice and its 34 days til the end of my contract lol. Unbelievable. and since I signed up with new provider yesterday I received and email from Vodafone that they will cancel my broadband on 14/3 when new one takes over. But my contract doesnt end till 4/4 and now I have no idea if they will charge me cancellation fee.

Your cancellation fee is pro-rata to the original end date, so with less than 30 days its irrelevant anywya.

The "30 days" of you speak is if you don't want broadband from another provider.  You do.  So as I say, you don't need to speak to Vodafone.  Pick somebody else, sign up with them and they'll do all the legwork.
