Can a company ask me to return items to another country?

I bought a raincoat online on January and the company address is in London, but I realised they post the parcel from china after I got my tracking number and was told to be patient after I told them wanted to cancel the order. I got the parcel after 45 days but it’s a ring inside, I asked them to return the ring and get my full refund, they told me to return the ring to Bangladesh and will pay for the cost. The thing is I am not trusting them at all now, do they have right to ask me to send the ring to another country? But I will not get enough evidence to claim my chargeback if I refuse to return it? What do I do now? Their name is joytidy.com, really bad reviews online, I learned after paid :(

Probably irrelevant if they can or cannot ask you to return it to Bangladesh - if they are a foreign company then you would have to pursue them there for any refund.

You could try your card but the company is likely to have a delivery confirmation so it may fail

What is the name of the company and what is their address in London?

The address of joytidy.com is in Rawmarsh near Rotherham (S62 5AA) which is hundreds of miles from London.

    £32 and used debit card

Thanks, I need to prove that they don’t want to refund me or did not refund me after they received returned items in 15 days if i want to claim chargeback, for most cases people may tell me to forget it, not to waste £15 postage again after lost £32 raincoat and even they don’t pay my refund, bank May only give me £32 back, but will not pay me postage.

Sounds like they are a drop shipper. They take your order and pass it over to another company to fulfil

They could I suppose claim that they sent you a raincoat and you returned a ring.

Certainly looks like a house. No warehouses in the area. Interesting they mention GMT?

The contract is for a supply of a raincoat,  this hasn't been supplied.
So try a chargeback of non receipt of goods.

Inform the supplier that it is up to them and at their cost  on how to return the item that has been wrongly sent.
