As an additional card holder, will I be able to view the credit card statements/transactions? Thanks

No, the only provider who allows any form of account access to additional cardholders is Amex, and even then the access is limited stuff pertaining to that specific cardholder's transactions - no statements, payments etc etc.0

Also any purchases made by an additional card holder, are likely exempt from section 75 protection.0

I am an additional cardholder to my wife's Tesco credit card and when I got my card it had the same number, end date, security number on the back and PIN.0 -

Good point. I don't suppose they would based on the card alone, but I suspect it'd have to be declared as part of a claim.

The OP however didnt ask anything about S75 so not sure why it was brought up... S75 requires a relationship between debtor, creditor and supplier. A secondary cardholder isnt the debtor but this doesnt invalidate S75 as long as the primary cardholder is the one in contract with the supplier. If there is a written contract then thats easy to resolve, the debates come when its just a till receipt as implicitly the person authorising the payment is the contracting party and hence you get the arguments that the TV was for the living room so a joint purchase etc.0 -

The only issuer I've experienced with a separate PAN for additional cardholders has been Amex.Natwest Group certainly use the same PAN (perhaps not a surprise since they have some shared heritage with Tesco credit cards). I know that at least one of the banks that used to issue licensed Amex cards (Lloyds, TSB, MBNA and Barclaycard) did as well because it used to cause problems with the Amex offers. Pretty sure it was LBG.0 -

My wife and I each have a New Day John Lewis Credit card and we are both additional card holders on the other's account. The additional cards have a different number. Only the first 4 digits are the same across all 4 cards. The other 12 numbers are all different.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
