Bought oil in August and the website saying September and over £200 If you call the alternative energy support helpline and say you can't do online. 
All they asked us for was we used heating oil,wood or coal and had a receipt.
No value or date specified so they proceeded to process it and gave a po box number to send receipt. 
No doubts if they are inundated it will get shredded without being looked at. 

We bought coal and wood weekly from suppliers to budget and didn't think we need to keep receipts for 6 months - there will be many in same situation.
On the face of it any coal or wood receipt should be ok as value and date not specified on phone call.
