    S48 requires an address to be provided for the serving of notices.

    It is S3 that requires the new landlord to identify himself/themselves.

    As was pointed out, with quote from the  Act, early in the thread....

    Reading through this thread it seems like you are forcing an argument for arguments sake rather than any valid reason or legal grounds and I really cannot see this ending well for you. If you want a create a dispute for your own amusement there are ways to do that which have far fewer repercussions and costs than the path you have chosen here. 
    It’s because of tenants like the OP that some landlords will either remove them by other than legal means or appoint an agent who will.

    I do hope the landlord here manages to move him on.
