bevemery33flintway said:Just received in the post this morning from Britannia Parking a letter requesting I pay the £100 .It says to avoid further escalation to make payment within 28 days. If this notice is ignored it will be passed to a debt recovery Agent which may escalate to court proceedings to recover the amount owed. An additional amount of £70 will be added to the parking charge notice in the first instance of further action.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have looked at the Trust Pilot Forum on Britannia Parking and it is all 1 stars and several are the same as my problem i.e reg plate entered incorrectly. They do not say if they had to pay or payed Britannia anything. Not sure if they ignored the demanding letter from Britannia. Not sure if I should pay or just ignore it. Britannia seem a very unhelpful bunch of people.

When we said 'bring it on' and 'ignore' (this stage) we meant it! We know what we are doing.
Trust us.
You don't talk and try to reason with this out of control rogue industry. Certainly no phoning them nor phoning the waste of time debt collectors who will demand £170 (which they will not get, except from weak victims).
Come back if you get a court claim to defend. That is when it is won.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Don't tell us about £170 debt demands.
Do come back here on a few weeks to do the Public Consultation about the level of parking charges and the fake £70 add-on.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have just used Resolver and an email has been sent to Britannia with further evidence plus a copy of a ruling by a judge who threw out a case the same type case as mine, regarding no reg plate info printed on the ticket. !

Resolver is USELESS re parking cases, has possibly partly ruined your case by implying who was driving and IMHO you should have followed our advice.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
