If your happy then that’s great.
Only one thing I can see what would cause me a issue, is that you’ve not repositioned the shaver socket , or is it still not finished 😊
I'm assuming that's for me. Eventually I'll strip the walls and remove it, we don’t use it. But really not bothered about stripping it at moving it at the moment.
    £2699 credit card (£3848 01.02.23)

So we went and saw the design and it was beautiful! But total cost came in at just under 15k. I asked if any saving could be made because he'd installed a stone sink with matching stone surface and a towel rail that matches, we don't need that! Just a plain white bowl sink will do. He's managed to get the cost down to 12.5k but that involves us paying 75% up front for things like the vanity unit, bath, sink, toilet.

With the boiler area, he'd made the door opening smaller and installed shelves above the block and said he'd try and take it down as much as possible but until we know whats under it, its hard to say.

I still think 12.5k is too much? Its only 5m2!

I think it’s too expensive for that job plus they want over £9k upfront for a suite.
The cost is really for mostly labour/time.
The bigger jobs there I’d say are plumbing in underfloor heating pipes and the plastering. Walls may need doing too depending on condition once the old tiles are off.

I'm inclined to agree. I don't actually know what the labour/installation cost was, suppose I could have asked. But I do think its a lot for such a small bathroom. This company was more of an interior design company so I guess an element of the cost is their fee too?

I think our budget is 10k max whether that's reasonable or expensive I'm still not sure, well keep looking around!

10k is still expensive for that.
    Basic suite £500, plumbing/floor supply & fit £800 - £1k
    Plastering £400 - £600
    Electrical £250
Costs can vary though depending on location.
    Also factor in dismantling bathroom/disposal.

There are different types of bathrooms.  £15k will be fine for one bathroom and £1950-2350 fine for a really very different one.  A proper bathroom renovation that goes back to brick and has  someone project managing it is going to cost far more than your pricing.  Not sure what £250 buys you in electrical work other than an inexpensive electrician to stand in the room waiting for something to work with.

It's like asking how much a car costs.  £15k is going to buy really something quite different to £1950, so you can't just tell the OP what they should pay, but if what they expect is, I quote, "beautiful!" then like a car it probably isn't going to be £2k.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Stick to a budget of 5 to 10k,  then you can add or remove any luxuries you choose.
    Average fitting cost approximately 3.5k

Pricing is roughly going on what I’ve paid for work. £250 I would have thought would cover fitting LED downlights if they were supplied first.
Depends if there’s any switch relocating.

Yes, agree, £15k for a company to oversee the whole project. Luxury fittings throughout.
£2k too cheap unless DIY so £7k should get a nice bathroom.
