Bathroom renovation cost?

If you're boxing in the area to the right of the door where are you planning on putting the radiator?
Does the bathroom actually need doing? It really doesn't look that old to me!
This is probably the 4th bathroom renovation related thread we've had on here recently that have been quoted a similar price to yourself. You could potentially receive a lower quote if you shopped around but this doesn't seem unusually high. Tradespeople are expensive at the moment.
Personally I'd wait. We're on the cusp of a recession (if not already in one) and one of the first things people cut during financial hard times is home renovations. I expect at some point soon tradespeople will be fighting one another for available work and that'll only lead to lower prices.0 -

The main reason we want it doing is because we really need a bath. I unfortunately had a miscarriage and if only I could have had a bath to relive some of the physical pain. Plus would be needed for children further down the line (hopefully)
This bathroom is a total botch job and corners have been cut everywhere. We nearly didn't buy the house due to the bathroom and we've lived with it for 5 years now.

Within 10 minutes of being there now she wants a stud wall building so she can have 2 pockets in the wall to put soap in etc. 🤔0 -

Where is the boiler ? Can that go into the loft or somewhere else ?
Id love to move it to the loft, but that's a huge (not to mention costly!) job which involves having our loft professionally boarded.
Main priority is to get the bathroom done (tastefully) to include a bath.
My son is a gas safety engineer and he fits loads of boilers in the loft and they are rarely boarded0 -
I was quoted £6.5k for labour on a 4msq bathroom. We opted for some more expensive things (like underfloor heating) but some less expensive things (like only tiling around the bath/shower and painting everywhere else). £15k does seem like quite a lot though, but it might just be because of parts included.0

Our bathroom is 2.4x2.2 so 5 square meters
we had it done last April and we paid £3124 labour for full tile, 6 spotlights, freestanding bath to replace shower as have one in en suite, reposition toilet, sink and electric mirror
was like this (looks ok but like yours every corner possible cut! Taps leaked, stone is actually PVC
panel, vinyl flooring no undrlay so cracked and no mirror in front of sink) and no extractor fan so like a sweaty swamp
we supplied all the partsMade a huge difference to our enjoyment of the room. Extracts out through the ceiling0 -

Your actually looks bigger than ours too!Not perfect but better than it was for a bit of space and some shelves (we added the shelves when bathroom was done but painted them & inside later)
The guy that did our bathroom was fine with moving toilet and sink etc. he did our en/
asuite and was great at making it work with little space, he wasn't the cheapest but was far from the most expensive and a lot told us they couldn't move things around.
en suite was the same - shower leaked, tiny dark room with bad lighting and no radiator so it was Baltic in winter - same flooring as bathroom with no ply underlay so cracked(We love coloured lights 🕺🏻)0 -

Then we stopped the europeans from working here as well in an act of genius. We're reaping what was sown.Even aside from that, good people will always be in demand.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
