Typically 1 person is estimated to use 50 cubic meters per year. I use a lot less than that, somewhere between 11 and 12 cubic meters per year. Once you know the prices like standing charges and the price per cubic meter just add up the figures that are the standard charges then add the price for how many cubic meters you estimate you will use. My area, YW, has about £90 of standing charges then multiply the number of cubic meters of water by the price of what you expect to use, in my case it would be £17 making my bill £107 per year.
With a meter learn to not run taps when not needed or at full when a trickle will suffice, turn taps off rather than leaving them running like when brushing teeth. If requiring hot water from the boiler run the tap at slow rather than full to get the water hot. Doing these action and others will lead to less water usage and smaller metered water bills.
