Ryanair Claim

Hi all, hoping someone may be able to give me some advice regarding a delay/cancellation.
On 31st July, we were scheduled to fly from Hamburg to Edinburgh at 2150, but was then delayed until 2330 before being cancelled completely. Nobody told us it was cancelled, we were actually on the bus outside the plane waiting to go on and then the bus turned round and dropped us back at passport control, with nobody know what was going on until we started receiving emails saying sorry your flight has been cancelled, please visit the Ryanair desk for overnight accommodation assistance etc. The whole airport was empty and there was no desk, no space in the hotel either so we had to sleep in the airport.
It wasn't until about 1am when people checked their ryanair app and it showed the flight now was put on again for the following day at 0940 (there originally were no more flights to Edinburgh until a few days later) with the same flight reference etc. It no longer showed any details of the flight being previously on the 31st July.
This meant that we arrived home about 12 hours later than we would have, but when I've submitted a claim to ryanair about it (twice), they have came back saying they find no delay to my flight?
I spoke to someone on their live chat and they said it was definitely delayed and then cancelled, before being rearranged to take us home the next day, so unsure why it would be getting rejected? Does anyone have any advice on where to try next?
Long story over, thanks!
Andy

If you're seeking compensation, do you know what the reason for the cancellation was, i.e. was it something within their control?
Assuming it was, then escalating to Aviation ADR would be the next step, but not particularly quick:

Or an MCOL claim if there's a suitable UK address to serve to....0 -
They never gave us any sort of information at all as to why it was cancelled, nobody in the airport knew anything and we only got information from email updates saying flight delayed and then flight cancelled.
Thank you, I'll take a look at Aviation ADR and see what that brings.0 -
Hamburg, like many German airports, has a night jet ban. It closes to most operations at 23:00.
Are you sure the original flight was 31st July 2022? RyanAIr seem to (now at least) operate Hamburg to Edinburgh on Mon/Wed/Fri. Your mentioned date in 2022 is a Sunday.0 -

There is still what is termed a Duty of Care that RyanAir should provide for an extended delay. Had you found a hotel for the night then I would expect the airline to have paid for this. Receipted meals should also be paid out if you claim.
