Unknown monthly credit appearing in account!

Hello all
I have Power of Attorney (POA) for my aunt's financial affairs and looking through her bank statements I can see a regular credit of £35.00 appearing every month.  I am fully aware of all her pensions and shareholdings and so cannot fathom what this amount is for.  Unbelievably, despite calling HSBC they are unable to explain where this money is coming from.  I find this extraordinary - can anyone shed any light?  The reference that appears on her statement changes every month with only the last five letters remaining constant - NSGIB.  The bank tell me that on their side they can see a reference number which always starts with GIB and is followed by a nine digit code.  Any ideas?! Thanks.
