    I moved into a new build a year ago.

    I contacted the water company when I moved who said I will not be charged until the developer hands over.

    I phone them every few months to confirm that this is still the case and I will not be charged for any usage until I have my own account.

    Did you think in some way that water was included in the cost of your flat/management charges?

    Because otherwise there is no reasonable reason to get into this situation. Water is not free.
    Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. Like choking....
