PE discontinued at the site of the Beavis case! (Alleged overstay, Equality Act defence)

As of tomorrow during business hours - just to be sure - I'm sending the Defence to CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk. I'm presuming that's still the correct address. I've kept in the Beavis bits but the points nearer the top are the Equality Act stuff for me (and/or mum, as she may well have been with me, neither of us can remember), ANPR double-dip likelihood, and not receiving anything prior to litigation at the service address the Claim Form was sent to. I've used a few (very!) recent Defences' templates as a guide. I'll keep this thread up-to-date with what happens next.

Of course it is.drellix said:As of tomorrow during business hours - just to be sure - I'm sending the Defence to CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk. I'm presuming that's still the correct address.
Don't you think the guidance would've been changed as soon as an alteration was known?3 -
Good point - but in fairness, it is a Sunday!

MCOL says it's received my Defence, but it also says that the last document received was my AOS. I'll wait another day or two to see if the page updates, if it doesn't I'll email them again to ask what's happened. I'm keeping screenshots anyway - I've read enough threads to know anything involving sending documents can be a right faff!

Very premature. Hardly anything by the CCBC marches to the drum of defendant expectation. Often bedevilled by admin log jams. You only submitted your Defence a couple of days ago (over the weekend?).Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks Unkomass. I'll keep waiting, then. I work in tech, so I'm a bit nervy about those sorts of inconsistencies, is all.

I think you can safely rely on this...drellix said:MCOL says it's received my Defence, but it also says that the last document received was my AOS. PE just sent back my SAR.
In it was the original PCN (twice, at different points in the pdf, weirdly), a reminder (old address), a 29-day notice (old address), a reminder (current address, dated several months ago, which I never received), an LBC (current address, dated several months ago, which I also never received - I suppose I can't rely on that argument now), and my Defence (good to see Northampton received it fine and sent it their way).
As ever, the SAR only contains two ANPR camera images of the vehicle in transit, so they didn't do manual checks. It means that neither they nor I know for sure if my mother was with me at the time, as a Blue Badge would have been displayed. If a grace period applies both whilst entering and exiting, then they're trying to get me for 5 minutes of alleged overstay, notwithstanding the 'waiting doesn't equal parking' and Equality Act arguments.
Am looking through what to do next, and waiting for the relevant forms.0 -
The 28-day limit passed for PE to submit an N180 on Monday, but today got an undated letter from them with a blank N180 form enclosed. I'm expecting to see a filled-out one from PE, not a blank one - shouldn't I be expecting that from the Court instead?
