Receive the call while I am aborad ?

Hi,

I am three user and my phone number is linked to the door bell.

I am going to travel for 2months and want to only receive the phone call from UK to UK number while I am aborad to international country(not UK/EU). 

Could you share any tips? I don't want to spend any data to avoid extra charge and only need to receive the call.

You don't say which country you are going to and what stage of what contract you have.

Newer contracts visiting Europe (?) are charged £3 (?) per day for roaming

I am not travelling to EU countries

Most providers charge for receiving calls when roaming.

If  you want to receive calls when abroad you could try a VOIP number. I have a home number with Voipfone and anywhere in the world where there is a data connection (via wi-fi or the mobile phone network) when someone rings my home number it rings on my mobile. Of course it uses a data connection so the use of foreign mobile networks for data will potentially be quite costly but you could set it to go to voicemail when you're away from wi-fi
