National Insurance Class 3 contributions and working part time

Hello
I'm a Mum to two little ones and have just started working part time. Do I still receive the Class 3 National Insurance contributions as I'm still caring for my children (they are 5) my earnings are so low so it's unlikely NI will be deducted from it. Any advice welcome, I've tried calling HRMC but find it almost impossible to get through and speak to a person!

If you are in receipt of Child benefit, you will receive NI credits up until the child turns 12.If you earn £123/week or more, you will also get a full class 1 credit even though you have not earned enough to pay any NI.If you claim any other means tested benefits such as UC, you will also receive NI credits.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Benefits & tax credits, Heat pumps and Green & Ethical MoneySaving forums.
