How much did you pay for them?  Were they substantially cheaper than would have been from a proper retailer?
£190 so not massively cheaper. Not sufficiently cheap to make it obvious they would be fakes!
    £190? Which ones were they??

More expensive to be 3rd generation, and way too cheap to be genuine pro ones.

Not to mention they have LOADS of randomly priced airpods which scream fake to me.

At least buried in their T&Cs is an address of OnBuy House, 12-14 Dean Park Crescent, Bournemouth, BH1 1HL, so if you get no where with a refund, then you can report to trading standards and leave a poor review.

    It also says:
    Information about Sellers
Information on each Seller including the company name, company number, registered office and, where applicable, the trading address and VAT number are available on the Seller Shop page.
So could you tell us which seller you used so we can find their details/do some digging for you?

Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Is it worth contacting Trading Standards to make them aware that On-Buy are facilitating the sale of counterfeit goods.  On-Buy have been informed of the issue but apparently are doing nothing to stop it.

    Many thanks!

At the time I bought them, there were far fewer sellers I recall - looking at the number of sellers now, there must be loads which are fake!

It's On-Buy's responsibility, since they sold the items to you. ... If the items are fake, then you should also report On-Buy for selling them - you can report that to Citizens advice as well as Action Fraud.
Shockingly bad advice and completely and utterly wrong.
On-buy does not sell anything, they are simply a marketplace that connects buyers with sellers:
We're an Online Marketplace ... we don't compete with our sellers by selling anything ourselves and we never will.

Does it make a difference if the payment goes to Onbuy? When you buy from ebay say, you pay the seller directly. In this case, the paypal payment goes to onbuy (at least that is what the transaction history shows).
  • The postcode for returns doesn't exist and it refers to a postcode.  I am assuming that they have nothing listed at the moment, is that correct?  (I don't know that site and how it works)

Its the same on eBay now, you pay eBay and eBay pay the seller. Don't think that makes a difference though compared to previously with you paying PayPal and PayPal paying the seller.

yes, nothing listed as the moment
