Why are you judging your Father and keeping tabs on him?

Are you on the house deeds or have a financial interest in the property?

At 66 he's perfectly capable of doing what he chooses.
He might complain, that's his prerogative but from what you've said, it doesn't sound like he's at risk or vulnerable in any way.

I would be extremely upset and possibly angry if one of my children posted online to judge me, because frankly, it's none of their business.

If you don't like the situation, move out and get on with your own life.

Not really, Its up to him how he chooses, however I don't think I should pay £2.5k on something he wants to do for just for show (toilet, kitchen) or half for new windows where he can get rid of mould, he is capable of using the money he saves a week to pay to clean gutters.
