Parking question at Manchester Airport

We normally get a taxi to the airport but it is far cheaper parking there for our upcoming trip.

Our return flight arrives back on Friday at 10pm and I am not sure whether we book until the return time of the flight and hope we are out in time, or add another day and book til Saturday as I suspect it will be after midnight when we get to the car park.

Any advice welcome, thanks.

You don't say which car park
We always use MAN M&G and they seem quite flexible on timings

We are not 100% sure yet, but M&G is one we are considering. Thanks

Most airport car parks will have a grace period of a few hours, check the terms. Not sure why you think it'll take over 2 hours to get to the car park after landing, Manchester has had problems but think they're mostly sorted now?
Alternatively some carpark operators/agents eg holidayextras offer cheap overrun insurance for flight delays eg a few £ to cover 24 hours delay.

If you use the official airport parking you get 6hrs flex to take account of delays etc

    Extract from

Parking FAQs - Cancellations and Delays | Manchester Airport

Please note overstay charges are only applicable if you leave the car park 6 hours after the departure date and time entered at time of booking.
