Not staying too long at a property ?

Is it just me or would it raise anyones suspicions if a property was bought/sold a few times in a relatively short space of time ?
The property in question was sold in 2012, 2016 and 2018. I'm thinking possible neighbour issues ( i am a bit paranoid about this sort of thing, having suffered from it in the past )

Ask why they're moving.
Not everyone wants to stay in one place for a long time.1 -
Yes, I’d be wondering why… there’s a house local to me that no-one ever seems to stay long in (unusual for the area) - there’s no obvious (to me) reason, but there must be something… 🤷🏻♀️

4/5 years doesn't seem a particularly short time to me, plenty of reasons why people move on - advance in their career so can afford something much more expensive, relocate for work, made redundant, meet up with/split from partner, new child arrives, etc. If the neighbours were a nightmare from day one I wouldn't be hanging around for 4 years!3

If it is a flat, I would expect the average stay to be less than for a house. People move because they can afford more and/ or want more space.We are now in 2023, so the current owners have been there 5 years, which isn’t too short imho.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Its a different part of country to where we are now, so obviously cant pop round the area at random times, however planning to go up for 3/4 days soon and have a good look round.(possibly) important aspect i forgot to mention is that its being marketed by Purple Bricks, my OH called them at weekend but whoever was sposed to be dealing with it wasnt available...0

What's it next door to? Has that house been bought and sold repeatedly? Might narrow it down to a problem neighbour if it hasn't. Not a guarantee of course.Honesty is the best poverty.1

Even that would seem pretty flimsy evidence for there being a neighbour problem, rather than all the much more mundane and common reasons for people moving (or not moving).YoungBlueEyes said:What's it next door to? The houses either side of it havnt been sold in last 10 years.Ill have to look further into it when up there, hopefully there will be a decent selection to view with Spring imminent.As per OP, been burnt by neighbour issues before. Purple Bricks being involved dosnt fill me with joy either...0
