Yeah as others have said the 'paid it to someone else' is a red herring. Stick to the basic facts in your claim - you are owed money contractually, and have not been paid. Booking.com need to comply with the contract. You will need to check all the T&Cs to see what the process is when you don't get paid and if booking.com are still not forthcoming then legal action is your next step.2

Have you tried phoning them? It’s not clear from your posts whether you are phoning or emailing. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
I am phoning and messaging almosf daily. I can only message the finance department, they don’t take calls .If I call I speak to an apologetic , appeasing customer service person who says they’ll pass on a message
I am hoping that my consistent persistence pays off0 -
Looking at thisas the OP suggested they are registered in the Netherlands. Here's an extract - the second paragraph seems relevant to the OPBooking.com B.V. (the company behind Booking.com™) is registered and based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands ("Booking.com", "we", "us" or "our"), from where it renders an online accommodation reservation service (the "Service") on its website (the "Website"), and is supported internationally by its local group companies (the "support companies"). The support companies provide only internal support to Booking.com B.V. The support companies do not render the Service and do not own, operate or manage the Website or any other website.
For all questions about Booking.com, the Service (i.e. the online accommodation reservation service) and the Website or if you wish to send or serve any documents, correspondence, notices or other communications in respect of Booking.com, the Service, the Website, or for press enquiries, please contact Booking.com B.V. directly. Before we left the EU it was possible to use an EU small claims process to make a claim against an entity in another community country. I've no idea if that remains possible since brexit.

Thank you for looking into this , I’ve yet to examine the company’s Ts&Cs around their responsibilities as creditors0

I work (reluctantly) with Booking.con at my B&B. I never let them take the money from my guests. They take the booking and pass the guests credit card details onto me. I charge the card and receive payment directly. Booking.con then invoice me for their commission which I reluctantly pay.
Too late for you now, I know, but if you intend to work with other online booking agents in the future - do as I do!!
Good luck!!0 -
