Thanks - I'll send over an email to the courts. It's worth a shot.

I didn't have to pay the £275 for this case (I did for my other one). Thanks to you guys, I submitted a complaint (as the CCJ was due to their delays in receiving emails) and thus it got set aside.

Nice to finally see an end to one of my cases!

Could you show is the complaint wording and who replied and what they said at the CCBC?

Very useful for others to copy.

Please do the Inquiry in time. Ten days left.  You are a perfect person to show your evidence of what is happening:

multiple claims, all meritless, court making mistakes and missing emails, all due to parking cases taking over the asylum.  None of this should ever have troubled the court service.  An independent ADR is needed as a court buffer.

Apologies for the radio silence - I have been away.

    Here is my complaint:

    Dear Sir/Madam

This is my official complaint, referring to the above mentioned case.

I sent a letter of defence to ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk on 27th February 2023 at 10:00 (SCREEN SHOT OF THE EMAIL)

I was therefore distressed to receive a Judgement of Claimant in the post dated 6th March 2023. Please note I opened this letter on 15th March 2023 after returning from abroad (dated: 4th March – 15th March 2023), hence the delayed response. I have act in urgency since returning to the UK.

As outlined in the defence, the original claim is unlawful and I have been unfairly harassed and intimidated by this company since 2017. It appears that the predatory nature of the private parking company and associated solicitor relies upon these technology errors in order to obtain CCJ’s by default, adding on ‘false add-ons’ that have been evidenced as an abuse of court process.

The process appears to unfairly disadvantage law-abiding citizens who are naïve to the processes of the court. I have never had any previous involvement with the courts and pride myself on being a valuable member of the community both personally and professionally.

In addition to this process causing myself and my family incredible distress, the CCJ will result in me losing my career and being unable to renew my mortgage. You will likely be aware of the added pressure this places in the current financial climate. I hope I do not need to degrade myself any further to detail the level of psychological, financial and personal harm this is causing.

I have spoken to the County Court Business Centre over the telephone, who advised me that options were either to pay the judgement (£317.03), apply to vary the judgement (£317.03 plus £14), or apply to set aside the judgement (£275). I asked if at this point there was any option for me that wouldn’t incur a financial costs, I was told these were my only options.

I am incredibly disappointed that at no point the option of making a complaint or contacting the ombudsmen was made. Again evidence of how this process unfairly disadvantages law-abiding people who are unfamiliar with these processes. Since the defendant did send the Defence, and it was negligently ignored by the court, I request that the defence statement be acknowledged, upheld and dealt with, and that the order dated 06/03/2023 be set aside, fee free. I have attached the defence again for your convenience. Furthermore, I request that the details of this judgement will not be entered in a public register, and that a fee free certificate of cancellation be issued.

    Yours Sincerely

That's a great example of how to complain to the CNBC.

By the way, the deadline to do the Justice Committee Inquiry has been extended until 17th January = next Friday.

I'm working on mine today, to submit tomorrow.
