Metered export today = £9.41. Profit of £14.63 after generation FiT, import & s/c (no battery). Metered export is the way forward.

Has anyone got the July rates for Flux yet? I am currently on E7 and Outgoing, and last couple of times I ran my usage data through Excel staying on E7 was still ahead (even assuming I made some usage adjustments), but with this good weather I suspect it might change. I wanted to get the July rates first though, to compare, before I make a switch.
I have a high base load and battery so I don’t export as much as all of you who are printing money on Flux!0 -
They're supposed to give 30 days notice of price "rises", and I suspect that any reduction of import and export prices in the Flux tariff would effectively act as a price rise for many of us in the summer months. I don't think they gave 30 days notice back in April, but it was less likely to be a rise back then!4.7kWp (12 * Hyundai S395VG) facing more or less S + 3.6kW Growatt inverter + 6.5kWh Growatt battery. SE London/Kent. Fitted 03/22 £1,025/kW + battery £24950

Thanks. I would imagine it will be a decrease on rates - even if that effectively means an increase in costs for most Flux users! The 30 day notification of price rises is presumably only for import. Would be odd if they kept pricing as-is given it’s a variable tariff. This is why I’m hanging on to see the new rates before a switch.0

Ok, that's 28 days now on Octopus Flux with metered export and the figures are in.
Previously with the FiT scheme and 50% deemed export over the last 28 says would have been, based on a generation of 1,510 kWh x 50% = 755 kWh @ 6.79 p/kWh would have earned £51.26
Now, with the export MPAN, the actual export was 1,202 kWh but with Octopus Flux paying a variable rate and load shifting with the battery, the exports will have earned, according to the Octopus Watch App, ~£304 which is a massive uplift.

Separately to the gas it would seem. I've just had the 'your prices are changing' email, but electricity was nowhere to be seen.
3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). Octopus Flux0 -
So that's my first month on Flux. Exported 874kWhrs off a generation of 1142kWhrs. Approx £214 compared to £39 deemed. £18 of gas (normally £0 in the summer) due to solar divert to IH switched off.3

Octopus Twitter confirmed to me they will be changing Flux rate, but were unable to provide the new rates. Apparently they will notify existing customers directly at some point.

It'll be interesting to see when/if they change the Flux rates - I read that they have said they will, but they're leaving it late unless these changes are still in flux (no pun intended)
I've already suggested for the October potential changes that they could consider increasing the nighttime cheap rate period to counter a possible on mass switch to something like E7.1 -
