New Flux prices are out. Email just received. Peak export down from 37.6p/kWh to 32.53p/kWh0

Will vary by region obviously but a few pence drop on everything not too much of a surprise1

Here are my new rates (East Midlands). In numerical terms the price per kWh has reduced by the same amount for both import and export but proportionally the export prices have been reduced more. Taking the day rate as an example, import has fallen by 9.6% while export has gone down 14%.
Northern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)0 -
Just received an email with new rates. Starting July 1st. Hmm. Am I a bad person for being a little sad the prices are dropping?0

Also, although this fall would have been better in October, as we move towards the darker months a reduction in tariff rate across the board is welcome...1 -
East of England prices
Import
Flux 18.43
Peak 43.00
Day rate 30.72
Export
Flux 7.43
Peak 32.00
Day rate 19.72
Standing charge 42.01
So standing charge no change, everything else dropping by between 2p to 3p
Interestingly flux import dropping the least4.3kwp JA panels, Huawei 3.68kw Hybrid inverter, Huawei 10kw Lunar 2000 battery, Myenergi eddi, South facing array with a 15 degree roof pitch, winter shade.0 -
Just carried out an estimated excel spread sheet calculation including VAT and Standing Charges. ( I have not allowed for the peak export rate drop from 34.95 to 30.45 a decrease of 4.50 pence)
12m Loyalty £346.02
Existing Flux £31.97
New Flux £83.88.
In theory I am going to be £51.91 worst off12 x 370 Watt J A panels Solis 3.6 invertor. Solax AC invertor and 5.8 triple battery0 -
Understandable but still disappointing. I thought maybe the lower import would at least make it more attractive during the winter months with less generation, but after putting the July figures into my October-22 to April 23 spreadsheet, its worse. Not by a lot, but still worse. December would have been £1 more expensive on these flux rates compared to the current ones (£3.25/£4.25 worse than the matching SVT+15p)This is without taking advantage of the 2am-5am period so it's still not clear cut if its worth switching away for those few months.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day).
