I assume Export will follow at the same time as you can't be on one without the other?

So far my experience of Octopus cust service has been 5 star so I expect a smooth transition.4.3kwp JA panels, Huawei 3.68kw Hybrid inverter, Huawei 10kw Lunar 2000 battery, Myenergi eddi, South facing array with a 15 degree roof pitch, winter shade.0 -

Time to start making some money. If your export payments are already with Octopus, then it will be relatively quick change, if export payments are with a different company then it will take longer. My FITS was with BG, and took about 4 weeks in total, 2 weeks was getting the export MPAN set up, so it does vary a lot depending on circumstances.0 -

As good as Agile is its only good in short bursts so to have something a bot more steady Eddie is perfect.4.3kwp JA panels, Huawei 3.68kw Hybrid inverter, Huawei 10kw Lunar 2000 battery, Myenergi eddi, South facing array with a 15 degree roof pitch, winter shade.0 -
I switched from E7 flexible and Agile outgoing to Flux. I signed up Saturday lunchtime, didn't see the T&Cs email till (Easter) Sunday morning. Having accepted the T&Cs, my account was showing I was on import on Sunday evening and export Tuesday morning. But Octopus Watch shows both tariffs from Monday. If you're already with Octopus export, I think the switch is pretty quick.

I was switched to export on Tuesday, and both the Octopus App and website show export Tuesday and onwards, however Octopus Watch only shows exports for Wednesday onwards.Anybody else noticed their first day missing off Octopus watch? At least Octopus shows it which is the main thing, but curious as Watch gets its data directly from Octopus.1

I replied to the T&Cs on Sunday morning, therefore Octopus apply the bill from Saturday midnight, so Sunday is included. I suspect that the first time Octopus publish that you have changed tariff would be with the Sunday midnight reading, so Octopus watch wouldn't know before Monday that you have changed tariff and don't have the ability to restrospectively update the Sunday reading.4.3kW PV, 3.6kW inverter. I've just switched to Flux. I'm wondering how Octopus pay your FIT and at what intervals?I just moved my FIT from OVO to Octopus as they'd take 2 months to pay from the meter reading.0

So tonight we used our battery to full effect to avoid the peak rate, oven on, kettle used and microwave all stayed under the inverters 3.68 kw output.
Used a hefty 10 Watts from the grid (battery lag).
Looks like this tariff is the one.
Still awaiting confirmation of the export side.

4 days since import confirmed.Something doesn't seem right there, kettle 2 to 3kW, oven 3 to 7 kW unless its gas, microwave 0.75 to 1kW, that's more than 3.68kW.Depending on how you're viewing the data, the detail may be lost in the sampling rate, or just got lucky and the they didn't all heat at the same time, and the ovens a low power one.The other day I needed to test something, double electric oven on, washing machine on, double drawer air fryer on, microwave on 3kW kettle on = just over 11kW, grid draw was negligible0
