  • Shell Energy, which before generated bills 24 days after last reading, today generated a bill just 3 days after reading was submitted, essentially requesting that my household will pay two bills in one month in the middle of the winter.
And they also hiked, in January,  standing charges by more than 13% for electricity and 17% for gas.......

How many customers do Shell have?
The most up to date info I can find suggests around 1.4 million households
...and that's a f**k-ton of customers to have to find somewhere new if Shell do pull out of domestic supply.... any takers? Large underwater squid-like animal company, maybe??
I’ll go anywhere it doesn’t matter they are all same right now.

OP - we had a 2 month wait for a bill when we first joined. They also falter every time the govt protected rate is changed/raised
