Sky minimum term

Hi. My Sky Q minimum term contract expires on 23 March. For renegotiating/cancelling/threatening to leave should I go back to them a month before or wait as Im thinking anything done now will be effected by any price rises coming in March. Many thanks for any helpful replies.

You could possible get a better deal on Now they are Sky but cheaper and you can subscribe for as little as a month at a time as there is no minimum contract period.
Someone please tell me what money is

But it must be noted that the channel range on Now is nothing compared to Sky.  That may not be a problem to the OP (you need some hardware if the TV doesn't/can't have the Now app on it)

Also you will pay more for Sport on Now, as its no contract, and you can probably get a decent discount on it as part of the bundle on Sky, so its sort of swings and roundabouts.

Also Now there is no recording, its all streaming.
Plus you need to send the Q hardware back if you do cancel it, as you don't own it, you rent it.

It's 31 days notice so depends what it will be going up to at the end of your contract, personally I'd give them the usual notice so it ends on 23rd March (I'd be willing for it to completely cancel to get a good offer though). If you manage to get a decent deal offered ask for no April price increase as this is certainly possible. However as your contract end date is so close to beginning of April giving them notice at the beginning of March shouldn't cost you too much, you may get a deal before the price increase anyway.
