Help me with a iphone payg purchase, please

Options
Hi
I've been looking on and off for a while as i have a very old iPhone hardly used and it was given to me by oe of our kids years ago.
My OH has a Samsung galaxy but its poor at picking up signals etc and about 5/6 years old j3 or j6 not sure

Initially, I misunderstood one of our kids and thought they said buy a iphone12 but today talking to them they
said they have the 12 but battery life is not great and go for iphone11

looking at the 11 its cheaper

Would you by used and saw one on 3 or giffgaff I think that was 350 for a phone in A1 condition and 12-month warranty - the cheapest was 310 I think but other sites do 240 etc for 64gb

I will rarelly use it but will need my Ring security and another securt app on it and Alexa and Google apps and that is about it,
I may add a sd card but was advised one wont be needed for my light use - its PAYG

Any tips

Who would you recommend for phone buying and whats your view on buying used for a well-known outfit, please?

My kids tell me I need an I Phone for £350 so I bought a Motorola G31 for about £175
It does everything I want using it regularly
Why spend double for something you rarely use ... MSE and all that!
  • You can't add an SD card to an iphone.

If you just need a cheap phone for a few things then go the Android route.

If you do want an iphone then the 11 is still supported and gets the latest verion of software, iOS16.

Refurbished can be had for just over £200
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

    Hiya

Thanks. The reason cited by our kids is that the iphones are updated for much longer therefore impriving speed/etc

What we have noted that on our kids phone as I ring cct'vs are connected as well to kids iphone, they get alerts almost immediately and our is at least 30 seconds or longer and many times nothing. Also, watsapp quailty of sound is better

Thank you for trying to help.

    Hi
    Thnaks all

Still not bought one. I'm slow off the mark as uncertain but noted phone a few quid cheaper.

Why is the se 2020 so much cheaper?

I want fast internet contection and several apps and a few pictures and that is about it - sufing the net will be 98% of the use as we use our landline for calls.

    Thnaks
