tesco Voicemail
Firstly apologies if there is a thread already. But I have searched and cant find one
Several months ago something happened on Tesco mobile (maybe an update etc) that prevents a user from extending the number of rings/time a phone takes before the voicemail kicks in. I had mine set up to ring for about 30 seconds before voicemail took the call. It is now by switched by default approx 10-15 seconds. So if you have voicemail on you need to answer in that time or risk going to voicemail. I am a tradesman and experience tells me that if I dont answer the call, most people dont leave a message if they are contacting me as a new customer. They simply ring someone else. I have been on live chat and into tesco store. This is known issue but they havent been able or maybe are unwilling to do anything about it. I am looking to switch to 02 but want to know if any 02 customers are having the same issue, as tesco are basically 02. I can switch to other providers but their signal strength is not good in my home

It doesn't look like it's a problem on Giffgaff and they also use the O2 network.
It may be worth giving them a try as you don't have to be tied into a long contract.

I had the same problem
On Tesco simply dial 2915 and switch it OFF, it will then ring then for at least a minute0
