Manchester T3 (Ryanair) Fast Track Security ?

First time going abroad for years and when booking flights I noticed this 'fast track security' for £5.
Great idea I thought. I'd pay £5 for a (probably) quicker trip through security. Last time we were queued for almost an hour.
BUT... I've just noticed that as we're flying Ryanair it'll be out of T3. And apart from the odd BA and Loganair flight, T3 is pretty much all Ryanair.
So, is there any point in the fast track for T3 ?
I wouldn't think it would get half as busy as the other terminals. Anyone with experience? Am I correct ?

Surely security will be resourced according to projected flight and passenger volumes, rather than number of airlines? In other words, a terminal with half as many flights as another will probably have half as many security lanes open, so the logic that it should be quicker through security would seem flawed.
However, it may be viable to choose to buy fast track on the day, only if it looks busy?0 -
Manchester Airports security queues are legendary, they got so bad on a Sunday evening when I would be catching a BA flight back to LHR, and I had use of the fast track anyway, that I stopped using Manchester altogether. It really depends on how many other flights are leaving at or around the same time, a few weeks before you are travelling, look at the airport website and go to the list of departures at the time your flight is leaving and see if there is one other or 15 other flights around the same time, that should help decide whether fast-track is worth it or not0
