3 mobile matched the offer MSE from ID Mobile £8 a month and also increased free data to 30GB

That's it really. The contract ends next month and they were only going to put up the price by nearly 100%. Thanks to MSE we went back to them and after a short conflab they offered to match.
Apparently 3 own ID Mobile as well.
I'm not that bothered forgoing the £50 Amazon Gift card. I've still got one I received as a Christmas present and can't find anything I really want or need. Saves the hassle of changing provider as well (even though its part of the same company).

Currys owned by Tesco, Tesco owned by Walmart etc. Only joking. But soon all retail will be owned by one global organisation and there will be no competition. UK plc will be owned by China!0 -
China already own quite a few things in the uk already like 3 mobile, Superdrug, Savers plus other stuff.

I just took out the iD 50gb deal with the promise of a £40 Amazon or Curry's gift voucher which gives an average of £3.16 /month at £2 for the first 3 month and £10 thereafter, making it much more attractive than Three's offer of £10 /month with 120 GB.
The only thing that makes me wonder if I shouldn't cancel the deal is the apparent difficulty in claiming the voucher. At no point in signing up has iD mentioned any voucher nor given me an option to choose which one to go for. I'd rather just use the option to cancel within 14 days no reason needed if I don't use the service than have hassle in 3-4 months only to find that it's impossible to claim the voucher. Maybe time to take that deal out of the list of reecommendations?0
