Yes. If it were purchased other than in a supermarket it wouldn't have been a supermarket spend.koenig said:Would the gift card have to be purchased direct from the supermarket to get the cashback?1 -

Why is it only supermarket spend anyway?
Why an ethical bank/building society doesn't do something similar to Amex and their shop small? Supporting small shops instead of big supermarkets? What Nationwide did is incentivise people to shop only at the biggest chains.

The secondary list included lots of others, some of which appear to be smaller shops or chains.Alex9384 said:Why is it only supermarket spend anyway?

Is Home bargains not included then?pochisoldi said:March cashback landed today - minus odd pennies for a purchase at Home Bargains.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
For your amusement ...Mrs B came home from Morrisons yesterday ... "I finally remembered to use my Nationwide card today"Checking the bank today, I see she used the credit card!!!

I thought I got Feb cashback for both HB and B&M. It was the only way I could get to the total of about £6. (Haven't received the Mar cashback yet).@trickydicky14 said:

Does anyone know if any shopping done in an eligible supermarket tomorrow (Sat 29th) is likely to be counted for April's cashback, or as the transaction is likely to be dated in May, it won't be?

It depends how quickly the supermarket processes the debit card payment. How soon after the purchases have your previous payments appeared?SpanishBlue said:Does anyone know if any shopping done in an eligible supermarket tomorrow (Sat 29th) is likely to be counted for April's cashback, or as the transaction is likely to be dated in May, it won't be?1
