Username/s that have quoted my post and I'm not getting alerts in my notifications box

Good afternoon

I've noticed since revising my preferences a while back on this site that I am not getting 'notifications' when some username has quoted my post.
The only notifications I am getting are where I've initiated a thread or another username posts my name with the '@' symbol.

 A big thank you in advance if you are able to help.

Is the "Notify me when people comment on discussions I've participated in." email box ticked in your Notification preferences?
Also/Or you could Bookmark the threads you want to be notified about and tick the email box in your preferences against "Notify me when people comment on my bookmarked discussions."

Apparently the whole question of notifications is being reviewed/amended so what currently happens may change shortly.
