Legit parking but missed registering the car resulting in PCN that was sent to old address

You are not 'taking legal advice'. That isn't what the Newbies thread says to say.
If you have no time to do this, just do nothing and let them file a court claim. Easy to defend using our template to help you draft a defence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As above by @Coupon-mad. If they get a whiff of fear from you, they will persist and even escalate their rhetoric in an attempt to cower you into submission. This is their modus operandi.
Do not fund the scammers.2 -
Thank you again. I will see what I can do.B789 said:Really? So, you are quite happy to fund these scammers. I find that astounding, especially as you can see how this scam works.
99% of all the claims we see on here and are advised on are won or discontinued before they ever get to court. 1% lose, and do you know why? Because the victim of the scam didn't follow the advice given, didn't properly read the Newbies thread to understand the whole process or just gave in and paid in order to have an easy life without bothering to consider the fact that by doing so they are funding these scammers.
You can be a 1 percenter or a 99 percenter. Which one do you really want to be?0 -
And this would have no bearing on the credit rating, or affect my chances of obtaining Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK and subsequently the chances of applying for UK citizenship?Coupon-mad said:You are not 'taking legal advice'. That isn't what the Newbies thread says to say.

None at all. Why do you think we help people defend court claims every single day and always tell people to "let them file a claim"?kaboo said:

We aren't putting anyone at risk.
No CCJ or effect on credit rating as long as you follow our advice and (easily) defend. The second post of the NEWBIES thread already tells everyone this.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have sent the emails. But the email to the DPO of Euro Parking Services has failed.
Address not found
Your message wasn't delivered to dpo@europarkingservices.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail. The response from the remote server was: 550 5.1.1 <dpo@europarkingservices.com> User unknown
I have now sent it to the two managers of the Euro Parking Services with who the store owner was communicating.

I think you are confusing this with a criminal matter. This is a civil case over an alleged debt because a scamming parking company issued an invoice. Nothing will affect your credit rating unless you go to court, lose the case, have a CCJ issued and then don't bother paying it within 30 days of issue.kaboo said:

Robustly defended, it is extremely unlikely this will get to court and if it ever does, a judge would decide whether the claim is upheld or dismissed. In fact, if you were so unlucky as to lose in court, only likely if you fail to follow the advice given on this forum, you would end up paying less than the claim is for because a judge would not allow the scammers to add on false costs and damages.1 -
Yes, someone else reported this problem last weekend...kaboo said:I have sent the emails. But the email to the DPO of Euro Parking Services has failed.Address not found

At that time I sent EPS an email pointing out this problem.
I received an immediate automated response, but obviously a week isn't enough time for them to fix this. I have received no further response to my query.
Another email address for EPS is info@europarkingservices.com3 -
As @KeithP notes above, you can use the info@europarkingservices.com email address for your SAR. Just add in the subject line "For the attention of the DPO". You should also send a separate email to that address stating that the email link to their DPO address in their Privacy Statement does not work and that you will be informing the ICO of this impediment to facilitating contact with their DPO.kaboo said:I have sent the emails.
