This takes me back a number of years - a few months after the company I work for was sold I moved our ten phonelines over to a new provider from UW. The previous owner got quite upset with his daughter (who held a management position for the new owners) saying I must have had the sums wrong and it couldn't possibly be cheaper and to see if there was a cooling off period or could we back out etc etc....0

Its not a pyramid scheme. Its on the Footsie 250. Also the £10 will be repaid if after 90 days you decide its not for you. Also you keep any money paid.I started last January and have enjoyed fitting it around my other business. We have police officers, solicitors and many other trades as partners. Yes, you get residual income from customers too. Homeowners stay on average 20 years and Tenants 7years. I agree it used to get a bad name on here years ago, but when I looked into it last year, it was worth me joining as a customer and a partner.

would you prefer the term 'multi level marketing scheme'?
biggest problem i have is that the people 'selling' the products are known to blatantly lie to make there numbers and theres no come back on the company becayse there 'partners' not employees.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.1 -

Only problem, with UW you don't get repeat customers and your list of people is eventually exhausted. From what I recall, you continue to get commission for every customer you introduce, for the lifetime of that customer.
I believe it’s also been said by a number of people on here that generally speaking, the only people who ever enthuse about UW are those who get paid for doing so… *glances upwards a few posts* 😉

I prefer being an unofficial rep for Octopus. £50 each for switching to a genuinely decent company plus their generous Savings Sessions.4

I'm not sure about this. I know someone who works for UW and is very keen to sign up other people as partners or resellers or whatever you want to call them. However, I know someone else who works for UW and I've never heard them mention the prospect of signing up as a partner to anyone - they seem more focused on just getting actual customers.
