I’ve had a bog standard current account with Co-operative Bank since 1971 (when they were the only one who would give me a £100 overdraft to pay for our wedding rings & cover me until my 1st ‘real’ salary payment😊).
I’ve retained it as my ‘main’ current account despite having dozens of other current accounts since.
OLB is clunky & the app is basic, but I don’t need to see everything in nanosecond real time & it does what I want it to, when I want it to.
I’ve never had a major problem with them & can’t remember the last time I had to contact CS so unless/until they do something to annoy me, I’ll stay.
  • I have a cashminder account as a back up account. Works well for me.
