  • I see they are offering another incentive if you deposit a further 5k !!! they must be expecting an exodus of people once they get their 100 quid !!!

That's for ISAs or Pensions. I doubt many people opened an ISA or pension account with them for the original £100 bonus

I haven't been particularly impressed by Nutmeg. Withdrawals can take a while (like at least 5 days between the time investment is sold and money is credited to a bank account). Selling can only be done via the website.

In term of loading money, Nutmeg is promoted by Chase, but not easy to load money from Chase...

Once my £100 bonus is paid, I am out. They have no competitive advantages over other platforms. They should improve their product rather than pay bonuses for people who are not going to stay customers anyway.

Still up £26 as they say it’s timing the market not time in market that counts.

Selling up as soon as £100 is paid!
  • I'm £988 now and that was going for the cautious approach, will be selling up once the £100 is paid

i guess today is the day the merry go round ends - now all we do is wait 5 days or so for the 100 quid bonus.

like most i joined on the last day (5 April), initially i was cautious but changed that within hours to balanced having read comments here.

at best i've been 3 quid up, at worst  down 20, i've been holding for the last couple of days at 998.

this being my first use of a robo-investment app i found Nutmeg clean in appearance, easy to use and i like the follow on information you can dig around in, but i'm not likely to utilise as a long term tool, i'll be cashing out at the earliest opportunity.

    i've enjoyed the gamble :)
