Lost item won at auction

Hi everyone I was the highest bidder of a sofa from made.com on JohnPye online only auction. I was not contacted within the stated timeframe to arrange delivery (that I paid extra for) so I contacted JP customer service who said they would look into this, after a lot of chasing up from me, they said they dispatch the sofa in two parts to their courier who had misplaced one of the parts and the courier was conducting a search.
Today I contacted the courier they are adamant that JP only dispatch one part to them and they are waiting for the other piece before they can arrange delivery. It appears JP are misleading me. What are my rights regarding an online only auction?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as to what I can do if I defaulted on the auction I would be held fully liable would the same rule apply for non supply of goods.
Thanks in anticipation.

To get the sofa you bought delivered or a full refund if it's lost.desamax said:Hi everyone I was the highest bidder of a sofa from made.com on JohnPye online only auction. When the two parties are directly contradicting each other, what makes you side with one over the other?desamax said:I contacted JP customer service who said they would look into this, after a lot of chasing up from me, they said they dispatch the sofa in two parts to their courier who had misplaced one of the parts and the courier was conducting a search.Today I contacted the courier they are adamant that JP only dispatch one part to them and they are waiting for the other piece before they can arrange delivery. Well what are the T&Cs of the auction site?desamax said:Iv asked for refund but they have asked me to wait a undefined time to see if it shows up at the couriers, when I know it’s not even there.
You cant be asked to wait an undefined time - I think its 30 days you legally have to wait for delivery before you can insist on a refund.1 -
