eBay Coersion to accept a false claim of 'goods not as described'

Buyer’s request for does not comply with eBay Buyer’s guarantee. The claim of item not as described as in ‘description or photo’ is incorrect for the following reasons.
1.The title clearly states ‘’ MEM Push Button Single MCB 5A QCB QLRS QLCS Breaker + Base (please see screen shot)
2. The description in the listing clearly high lights ‘’ Listing is for one MCB, please select the required rating from the dropdown menu. (Please see Screen shot)
3. The order clearly states one 5A fuse: MEM Push Button Single MCB 5A QCB QLRS QLCS Breaker + Base. TESTED144732306047 Current Rating:5 A Base (please see screen shot)
4. The reason there are more than fuse ratings in the listing photo is because I used eBay Selling variation tool as I had several fused at different amp in different quantities.
5. Except for last one 5amp fuse I sold all the others without any problem. When the Buyer clicked the dropdown menu all she could see is one 5amp fuse that she bought and that was what the Buyer had ordered, and I despatched that item to the Buyer the same day.
Hence the Buyer’s claim ‘Not as described’ is unjustified and I can not accept a return as it would imply dishonesty on my part of selling goods not as described. The return cut off date is 9 Feb and I am concerned about the delay in resolution.
I have been a member of eBay community for over 21 years and maintained 100% positive rating thus enhancing eBay’s reputation. I am being coerced by eBay to accept the return is causing stress. My feedback will testify I am an honest seller.

Are all the items you are selling the same thing, just different ratings? Or is the 5A fuse just a fuse and therefore different/cheaper to everything else in the dropdown?0

Best to accept the return (or if the fuse isn't worth the £3 odd for return just refund) and move on, you win some, you lose some, hopefully you are winning overallIn the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1

The items are fuses with diffent ratings and diffent quantity in each rating.

P.S. The drop down menu offer selection of amp and quantity. The prices per unit fo all are the same.

How much was the sale for??
Bearing in mind for an item not as described case you would be liable for return postage, if it was only a few £ then personally I'd just refund and not bother with spending more money on the return.....0 -
What do you mean by 'eBay is being difficult'? Have they stepped in and said the buyer's right? Have you phoned them to explain and get the case closed on your favour? Logically the buyer should not have a leg to stand on, here.1

herock said:This post outlines my concern about the item I sold on 23rd January 23 and on receipt of the item the Buyer informed me that instead on one item that she had ordered she expected all the items that was on the variation listing photograph and subsequently she initiated a return. I had explained that she ordered one item, a 5amp fuse and she received the same item. She has not yet responded to my comments on the return page. I explained as follows:

eBay is being difficult.
If eBay insist on the return then as a business seller and hopefully above standard you should be able to appeal against once item has been returned .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I want to give a differing point of view as a 100% honest buyer (never a seller)
I once bought some replacement runners for a drawer. The picture I got presented with was of 2 drawer runners and you'd realistically expect them to be a pair. Every other listing was for a pair of drawer runners but I only got sent one and when I checked the detail of the listing it did indeed say one drawer runner but I felt conned because the photo I saw was a pair of drawer runners and that's what everyone else was selling.
I didn't bother following through on a return because it wasn't worth stressing over £2.
I'm not saying this applies in your case - I'm just saying don't get stressed over a small amount if it is a small amount.0 -
by the way it is not a fuse! It is an MCB, they do the same thing but ae very different.0

The MCB each sold for £64.99 each. I don't want a dud MCB in return
