Replacement rear light for Mercedes GLA 200

HI

Had a little accident and cracked the rear left outside light cluster on a 2019 mercedes GLA 200 (the LED type), part number is I believe A1569068300

It seems I will have to replace the whole cluster, as it is a single sealed unit rather than just replacing the outside cover

Quick google around and prices for this thing are £200+ on ebay, more if buying new - seem extortionate!

Any advice from anyone on where to source replacement parts cost effectively?

Removing and replacing seems fairly straight forward as far as I can tell from a few youtube videos but again any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

  • EBay will give you your default prices.  You need to check the upper and lower levels that folk tend to pay, so check previous sales.  Then just get bite the bullet.

Could try Facebook market place perhaps.

A new genuine Merc one will be expensive.
There are some pattern ones available that are a bit cheaper.
They will look  similar but it may look a little differently shaded/coloured than a genuine one which might attract the eye to it.

What I would do is contact a few Merc breakers for a used genuine Merc one.
Some will list them on Ebay, but there's a fee for this, going direct should be cheaper.

Dronsfields tend to break a lot of Mercs.
