Proof of Postage Royal Mail App

Hi All,
I buy my small parcel 2nd class postage online in the royal mail app, then go to royal mail delivery office with QR code for them to print labels.
Last year if confirming in the app that a parcel was posted using the add proof of postage option, a proof of postage was downloadable from the app onto my phone as a pdf once the label was scanned at the delivery office (normally done when handed over).
This has stopped working recently & royal mail are very unhelpful on both twitter & via email about this functionality, does anyone else have the same issue?
I don't like to think what would happen if something was lost & I have no proof of postage.
Cheers

Do you not receive an email to confirm the item has been posted? Perhaps it’s a slightly different system but I use the parcel collect service (where the postman picks the parcel up from your house) and as soon as they scan the label, I receive an email and that is my proof of postage.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

I drop my parcels off at a mail centre and have to take my own Proof of posting as printed out from the RM site - just google 'Bulk proof of posting'. I've never ever had email confirmation of my dropped off parcels.
If I go to the PO I don't need POP as they give me till receipts once they scan them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've just seen that QR code label print service for online purchases can now be done at the post office, so no need to use the delivery office or rely on App for PoP as the P.O print off a P.oP as part of the process!
Result! 50p saving on 2nd class parcels but still have P.O service :-)
