Sofa bed won't fit through door

Well for all you people who are still remotely interested, the eagle (sofa) has landed. Thanks to all your advice we removed all the gubbins that made the bed part and wriggled and wiggled it through the door. Hubby kept saying we're not going to do it but we persevered. The photo is of the first doorway which was slightly wider, we took door off the narrower door. No photo of that as I was under the sofa inching it through door. Thank you all.

Glad you succeeded. Can’t help but think, looking at that photo, that had you stood the settee on its end you’d have been able to ‘turn’ it into the room. Still, it’s in now.

NO NO NO NO NOOOOO! As Baser says, stand the sofa on it's end, and take it through as an 'L'-shape.

Now, pick it up and do it again.

I don't have the strength for furniture removal so pushing and shoving this way was best. Sorry I disappointed you all

I wasn't disappointed because you got the job done.  Unfortunately you made it 100 times harder than it should have been.  Never mind.
